Lai Chau Provincial Police informed about the case of a man transporting drugs in the locality.
At around 11:30 a.m. on June 9, 2024, in Cung Mu Phin village, Lan Nhi Thang commune, Phong Tho district, police caught Lu A Mang red-handed for illegally buying and selling drugs.
Evidence seized in the case included 3 bars of heroin, 2 mobile phones and 1 motorbike.
At the investigation agency, Lu A Mang confessed that he bought the above heroin from an old acquaintance for 80 million VND/cake, with the intention of selling it for 120 million VND/cake.
Before the transaction could be completed, the police discovered and arrested him.
Lai Chau Provincial Police issued a decision to temporarily detain Lu A Mang to continue investigating and expanding the case.
