Six Arrested in Ho Chi Minh City Gold Shop Robbery

On May 29, the Criminal police division of Ho Chi Minh city police arrested six suspects linked to a gold shop robbery that occurred in Tan Dong Hiep ward.

Immediately after the incident, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department directed its investigative units to urgently track down those involved.

Multiple task forces were deployed to locate and apprehend the suspects, Ho Chi Minh detective agency.

Following a brief investigation, police arrested six individuals connected to the case.

Evidence related to the robbery was also recovered for inventory and examination.

According to preliminary information, the stolen gold is estimated to be worth approximately VND 780 million.

The Ho Chi Minh City Police are currently conducting a crime scene reconstruction.

Investigators are also taking statements from the suspects to support the ongoing investigation.

Authorities continue to clarify each suspect’s role and the method used to carry out the robbery.

Earlier, a group of individuals entered Kim Thanh An Phu 2 Gold Shop on D1 Street in Dong An Quarter, Tan Dong Hiep Ward.

The suspects used hammers to smash the display cases. They then grabbed an amount of gold and quickly fled the scene on motorcycles driven by their accomplices.
