Information from the police investigation agency of Nghe An province, Vietnam, Vietnam detective agency.
The agency has prosecuted Nguyen Quy Khanh, 56, director of the Nghe An Motor Vehicle Registration Center and others on charges of accepting bribes.
Khanh is the director of two registration facilities 37-01S and 37-02S, belonging to Nghe An Motor Vehicle Registration Center.
Two deputy directors, five heads of professional inspection departments, and three registrars of the top two centers were prosecuted and detained.
Three others, investigated for Bribery Brokerage.
According to the investigating agency, these people received the amount of 200,000 – 1,000,000 VND per vehicle, to ignore the violations.
The investigative agency accused the department that checked the records of accepting bribes from 100,000 to 300,000 VND per car to ignore other errors.
The investigating agency determined that the entire amount will be divided by Mr. Khanh, Duc and Tai among the relevant people.
The representative of the information investigation agency said that these people have admitted the crimes.
