Two brothers robbed a gold shop in Ho Chi Minh city

Late afternoon, the last sunlight of the day covered Dang Thuc Vinh Street in a pale yellow color. At a small gold shop, two men walked in. One quickly pulled out a hammer, smashed the glass display case, while the other stood guard.

The gold shop owner, undaunted, rushed in to wrestle with the hammer-wielding man. The sound of broken glass and shouts made the neighborhood chaotic. The two strangers ran away, taking nothing.

Suspect profile
Through investigation, the two suspects were identified as brothers: Le Duy Dat (born in 1995) and Le Duy Dong (born in 2002), both from Thanh Hoa.

At the police station, they confessed that due to heavy debt, they planned to rob a gold shop to solve financial difficulties. They researched the stores, prepared hammers and motorbikes to carry out the act.

Incident developments
On the afternoon of May 5, Dat and Dong went to a gold shop in Hoc Mon district. One person went inside, used a hammer to smash the glass cabinet, grabbed the gold and ran away. However, the gold shop owner fiercely resisted, preventing them from taking the property. After 4 hours of committing the crime, both were arrested by the police.

Conclusion
The incident is a reminder of the consequences of choosing the path of crime to solve financial difficulties. The authorities are continuing to investigate to handle it according to the law.
