Many people tested positive for drugs at a bar in Ho Chi Minh city

On July 9, Ho Chi Minh city police conducted administrative inspections at 3 major nightlife entertainment venues in central districts. During this inspection, hundreds of suspects were found using illegal drugs.

Specialized units of Ho Chi Minh City Police coordinated with District 1, 3 and Tan Phu Police to raid 3 bars: Yolo Beer Club, Bar Poc and Canalis Club.

At the time of the inspection, all 3 establishments were operating at high capacity, with loud music, dim lighting and signs of stimulant use among some customers.

Authorities conducted rapid drug tests on individuals showing suspicious signs, Ho Chi Minh detective service.

The results showed that a total of 186 people tested positive for drugs, including some employees working at these venues.

In addition, the police also seized many drug-related exhibits and issued administrative violation reports to business owners for many violations.

The case is still under investigation and those who tested positive for drugs are being screened for handling according to Vietnamese law.
