According to information from the authorities, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Duyet is the Deputy Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, who is accused of linking with the management of projects to profit, causing loss of state money, accounting for win money for personal gain.
In this case, Duyet was prosecuted and detained to investigate charges of abusing his position and authority while on duty, according to Article 281 of the Criminal Code 2015, April 15, Police of Lang Son Viet Nam said the detective in Saigon.
Authorities charged that, as Deputy Director of Department of Natural Resources and Environment and Head of the Investment Project Management Board of which the Department was the investor, Mr. Duyet had “hooked up with the contractor, deliberately worked left for personal gain, “causing billions of dong in state budget losses.
Authorities are continuing to investigate this incident, the detective service in Saigon.
