The Dak Lak provincial police criminal police department and the Immigration management department arrested Tran Van Tung and Nguyen Van Vinh.

On July 24, 2024, the Police received a number of Vietnamese people working illegally in Cambodia who were returned by the Royal Cambodian Police.
Investigating the case, the police determined that there were 4 victims who were tricked into being sold to Cambodia by Tung and Vinh.
According to the investigation, in early 2024, Tung and Vinh went to Cambodia to work, Ho Chi Minh detective service agency.
Tung and Vinh were asked by the company owner to find Vietnamese people to bring to Cambodia to work.
Both will be paid 300 USD/person if taken to Cambodia, and if they sign a 6-month work contract, they will receive an additional 500 USD/person.
Both of these people are also entitled to 5% of the total income that the victims make.
Both Tung and Vinh know that working conditions here are harsh, but for money, they violate the law regardless.
