Arrested man transporting two kilos of gold illegally

News from a private detective agency in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnamese detective agency, arrests a man transporting gold illegally across the border.

Ha Van Vinh hid two gold bars weighing two kilograms, to transport them for hire from China to Vietnam.

The Lao Cai International Border Guard Station has initiated a criminal case to investigate the act of illegally transporting two kilograms of gold from China to Vietnam.

The Lao Cai International Border Guard Station’s working group and the Northern Anti-Drug and Crime Task Force discovered that Ha Van Vinh was acting suspiciously.

The working group discovered that this man hid two pieces of gold-colored metal in his pants. Each piece weighed one kilogram, and was determined to be 99.95% and 99.94% pure gold.

Vinh said he transported them for hire for a Chinese man from Hekou to Lao Cai City for 2 million VND.
