On June 20, 2024, Yen My district police received a report that at about 9:00 p.m. the same day, a 15-year-old girl, named G, was raped by someone in a field in Ngoc Long commune.
Ho Chi Minh detective service agency, Yen My district police investigated and verified the perpetrator of the crime.
On June 21, 2024, the police identified the subject who committed the above rape act as Song A Cho.
Vietnamese detectives, the Yen My district police investigation agency issued an emergency detention order for Cho.
The investigation agency continues to verify and investigate to handle according to regulations in Vietnam.
